Car Loans
Finance for a new or used vehicle, whether it is for everyday use or part of your business.
We compare suitable loan structures across the lender panel and manage the application from documents through to settlement. Whether the vehicle is a dealer purchase, a private sale or part of a business fleet, we match the structure and the supporting evidence to the lender assessing it.
Rate matters, but so does the term, the balloon and how the loan is secured. We show what each option does to the repayment and to the total cost before you commit.
What this typically includes

FAQ
Car Loans questions
Can you finance a private-sale vehicle?
Yes. Private sales are assessed differently to dealer purchases and usually require additional verification of the seller, the vehicle and any existing finance owing on it. We confirm the lender’s requirements before you commit to the purchase.
What is a balloon or residual payment?
A balloon is a lump sum left owing at the end of the term. It lowers the monthly repayment, but the amount still has to be paid, refinanced or covered by selling the vehicle. We show the total cost of the loan with and without one so the trade-off is clear.
Can I get a car loan with past credit problems?
Often, yes. A default or a patchy repayment history narrows the lender panel rather than closing it, and lenders weigh how recent the event was, how large it was and what caused it. Expect a higher rate than a clean file would attract — we set out what is realistically achievable before you apply.
Can I get a car loan if I’m self-employed?
Yes. Self-employed applicants are assessed on business income rather than payslips, and lenders differ widely in how practical a view they take of that. Depending on the lender and the amount, a full set of financials is not always required. We identify which lenders suit the evidence you have before anything is lodged.
Do I need a deposit for a car loan?
Not always. Many car loans can be arranged for the full purchase price where the application supports it. A deposit reduces the amount borrowed and can improve the terms available, so we show what difference it makes before you decide.
Can the loan be in my business name?
Yes, where the vehicle is genuinely for business use. Business vehicle finance is assessed differently to a consumer car loan and may involve a business purpose declaration. Your accountant should confirm the tax treatment; we handle the finance structure.
